Dr. Shaikh-Sayyed is an Ayurvedic board-certified physician and a member of the Innerbody Research Medical Review Board. In addition to treating patients, she has a diverse professional background stretching from hospitals to healthcare communications, academia, and the pharmaceutical industry. This work over the course of more than a decade has allowed her to gain experience in many therapeutic areas including cardiology, urology, gynecology, gastroenterology, dermatology, orthopedics, and pulmonology.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

Dr. Shaikh-Sayyed obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) in 2011 and then earned her Doctor of Medicine degree in the branch of Ayurveda from APM's Ayurved College in Mumbai in 2014.
