PROFESSIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
Dan earned his BA in English from Piedmont University in 2008 and then spent much of the following 11 years writing and editing for curriculum development in South Korea. After moving back to the United States in 2019, Dan worked as a copywriter producing materials for Indeed, Rabbit Hole Distillery, Visiting Angels, and other brands.
PERSONAL
Originally from Southeast Pennsylvania, Dan currently lives in Topeka, Kansas, with his wife (the artist Ana Diaz) and his dog (the dog Daisy Ruggles Pooperton Diaz). He reads fiction, buys too much stationery, and takes pleasure in freshly cooked corn tortillas.
