The right lower lobe of the lung is one of the three lobes that compose the right lung. It has superior, medial basal, anterior basal, lateral basal, and a posterior basal segments. Branches of arteries and veins, which stem from the thoracic branch, nourish the lobes of the right lung and these, in turn, stem from the descending aorta.
